The year 2004 marks the 100th anniversary of Farmers Bank.  On the evening of April 21st, Farmers Bancshares, Inc. held their annual shareholders meeting.  One of the highlights was the presentation of a plaque from the Ohio Bankers League to commemorate the 100th anniversary.  Paul E. Kloes, Chairman, and Paul M. Reed, President and Chief Executive Officer, accept on behalf of board members and employees.

The meeting is the kick-off to a 100 day celebration that will take place between August 27th and December 4th (the actual anniversary date).  During the 100 days, customers will be eligible to win lots of special prize giveaways and the bank will fill a time capsule to recognize everyone's contribution to the anniversary effort.  Stay tuned for details coming later this summer.
