Multi-Factor Authentication for First Time Users

1.  In the first box, type your primary account number.  Your account number is your User ID.

2.  The second box is for your password.  If you have used Farmers Bank Internet Banking in the past, just input the existing password you have always used.

If you are new to Internet Banking, you will have to create a password.
It can be anything you want, but we recommend for security reasons that you make up a password that contains capital letters, lower case letters and numbers.

To create a password or to input your password, you need to point and click on the keyboard.  You may find this a bit tricky, as each key has
a capital and a lower case.  You have to click right on the exact character you want to use.  For example:  if your password is Bank, you have to click on the capital B, then finish by clicking on the lower case letters a, n, k.   See those little dots come up in the box as you type?  For your protection, the actual password is not displayed in the box.

3.  Next, enter the random code into the third box.  The random code is that odd looking mix of letters and numbers.  You have to be careful to enter it exactly, using capitals or lower case.  This is a second measure of security.

4.  Click Submit.

5.  Now you will be asked to answer several questions.  This is a third measure of security.  (Hey, that's why it's called multi-factor authentication!)  Write down the answers if you're not sure you'll remember the next time you log in.

6.  Now you create a security key.  It has to be at least six characters of your choosing.  Click Submit.  This is a fourth level of security.

7.  Enter your user ID when prompted.  Remember, this is your account
number.  Click Next.

8.  Answer one of your random questions.  Click Submit.

9.  Now you will see your security code displayed with one last box right underneath.  Here you enter your PASSWORD, the one you created back in step 2.  DONT RE-ENTER YOUR SECURITY CODE THERE.  (Sorry for shouting!)  Just eyeball your security code to make sure it is the one you created.  If it's not, please call Farmers Bank.

10.  Enter your PASSWORD in the box using the keyboard on the screen.

11.  You're in!  Now you have better security than ever.  You will not have to go through this entire process every time you log-on.  From now on, you will only see one screen, which will ask you for the User ID and password.
